autochop in 1.2

I've installed 1.2 and like it very much. I cannot, however, uncheck autochop.
Have I forgotten how or is this a bug?

Did I dream it, or do I not correctly recall that Autochop is mandatory for HDV?

That's correct. The way the timing info is stored in HDV, not chopping will give odd results in just about any application.

If this is DV, then there is something wrong.
