View Full Version : Shuttle launch platform?

Anyone know of any place to find the launch platform for the shuttle?

Even if it's only an "okay" model I could use it as a template to make it better.

Just trying to save some time....thanks.

Cool pic. Problem with it though is what I find allot, the platform is obscurred by the launch! :D

I have been having a time trying to find "clean" pics of it. :mad:

Are you helping NASA fake another moon landing? They really need to pay more attention to detail this time. Composition pics from the Apollo missions would be torn to shreds in this forum.:D

OK, here's one I can help with. I work for NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Marshall has an image archive located at http://mix.msfc.nasa.gov/ and NASA has one at located at http://nix.nasa.gov/ . Thousands and thousands of images in several resolutions can be found in these two searchable data bases.
