Hi,

I have a trouble with LW (9.2) dynamics :(

I should make falling fruits.
It is quite OK, yesteday, in Layout and rendering,
but today in layout it is OK, but rendering not.
In layout is it OK, but when I render it, only some objects are animated.

Can somebody tell me what im doing wrong?

Weird. To be safe, did you do a "calculate" on the dynamics tab or just scrub the timeline? Afterwards, it is best and important to go under dynamics > file and save the motion to a file. This way you avoid re calculating as well as other weird dynamics issues.

The problem was not the the dynamics, the send data to renderer was wrong.
In layout was the position OK, in rendering BAD, and after return to layout was the position of object wrong. Only after moving to next frame and back was the position OK.

After many hours of testing I find out, that in must be something with subdivision (the strawberries, blackberries and raspberries are subdivision objects, blueberries not).
After setting the "Display SubPatch Level" to 3 or "|Subdivision Order" to last it was OK.

I have only one question: how can I made the fruits to interact between each other (after colision to rotate)?
Now it works onlz if they colide with the floor. :(

Hi There,

I'm no expert on things dynamic, but I'd use simple spheres to calculate the dynamics ( you would need self collision turned on for them to react with each other) Save the motion then replace the simple objects with your proper ones and render!

spinquad has a specific dynamics forum with some downloadable examples also, which might be of help too.

Hope this helps

I read something simillar, somewhere. Sorry I can't help..

..try making some .mdd files maybe, see if the problem is still there.

Are the fruit one object or many? If they are many try adding Collision FX to each one.
