Is Kurv still in business? I've been unable to login to their site and all emails and phone calls go un-replied.

no, it's still up and running. at times, he can get bogged down with orders. especially with all the new lightwave dvd's coming out. how long ago did you order? i haven't had a single problem with kurvs yet, but i have heard this from more than a few people. he really should looking into hiring some more help. pity for a studio with such great stuff to have it's track record marred.

Problem is, I can't even get in contact with Kurv to order anything. I emailed them and was sent back some kind of automatic spam blocking email message. Says if I go to the page linked at the bottom of the page it will remove me from the spam guard, or whatever, but the link is to a web page that fails to load. I've left messages for Wes, almost every other day, for three weeks now and no response.

To bad, I ordered ZBrush from Kurv without any hitch. Got an email from Kurv for 50% off of some training videos last week and no way to order them by phone or web.

Maybe Splingod can do something, was his videos and some texturing videos I want.

I've had no problems - ordered from them last week; had an email correspondence with them.

Maybe I'm just lucky...

I've been waiting for a week from a reply I sent back to Wes. Never had this problem with anyone before.

Good video tuts though. :)

If you are a member of Spinquad or Kurv Studio forum's you can send him a private message and this should get through to him. As for the spam blocker link not working, I am not sure what could cause that. Maybe his email box is full.
BTW, I think he may even have an account on this forum. Maybe worth checking out just to pm him.

yes, he does have an account under "kurv" in these forums. about the spinquad and kurv studio forums, i've sent in the submission multiple times a few months back and got no reply to either. his spam blocker is a strange thing because when i bought a dvd from him, i got an email saying thank you for the business. later in the day, i get another email saying that i had to go to the before mentioned site to activate the account to be able to make the purchase. weird. order went thru fine though...

Sorry guys, I have several messages to get caught up on... we just hired a new person and I have been installing the new office for 4 days. So I have been tryinig to stay caught up at night. I will look for your VM tonight and call tomorrow :)

Well I got a call from some lady at Kurv, but she couldn't help me with accounts because she didn't know how. She told me she'd have Wes call me and I never got a call. Wes left me a message here at NewTek and thinks Diane has taken care of everything. Seems to be some miscommunication going around. I am still unable to e-mail Kurv without getting the spam responder and I am still unable to login to my accounts at Kurv. Just replying to the spam responder as Wes suggested gets me another spam responder. I've left several phone messages since then and have yet to get a reply. Can't even order by phone.

Got a week left for the coupon Wes sent to me, but I'm not ordering anything until this is all cleared up.

Been over a month and no reply from Kurv. Phone calls still going unanswered. Interestingly enough, I still get e-mails for discounts but no way to order anything.

Don't forget that they are in Central Time; I just talked to Wes yesterday, after Dianne grabbed him for me. His phone systems have gotten much better. I called in the early afternoon (EST). What kind of problems are you having with ordering?
