Hi all!

Has anyone used the new Fprime 3 with the baking camera, and is it possible to bake for example onlu GI diffuse information with Fprime 3.

I am considering buying both Fprime 3 and Kray 1.7, but one of them has to be first. I need something to improve my animation workflow, and need a baker.

LW's baker gives me too many problems, such as artifacts on polygon edges etc.

Thanks all!

Also, has anyone used Microwave before from Evasion3D. Does it work with 9.2 and it's nodal system?

Hello,

I have fprime3 but haven 't tried the baking yet.

the LW baker does give me good results, using the border option to overrender the map, thus avoiding the seams. + a neat photoshop plugin that removes the empty spaces.

To get rid of edge antialiasing, if necessary: copy the alpha and paste it into a new layer above the render, invert the new layer, set blending mode to Color Dodge. Flatten the image.

Duplicate the background layer. Select only the pure black pixels of the alpha (magic wand set to not be continuous, with no antialiasing, and with 0 tolerance) and delete that from the duplicated layer. Deselect. Apply one of the two Solidify filters, free from Flaming Pear software. (http://www.flamingpear.com/download.html#solidify)
