Creating Snow

Hi,

I've been searching for a tutorial but without success on how to make realistic snow.

Has anyone tried this? Basically what I'm trying to do is create a bank of grass (created with Saslite) and have patches of snow covering most of the grass (ie so it looks like it's been melting a bit).

Everything I've tried so far looks flat and unrealistic, so if anyone out there can give me some pointers I'd much appreciate it.

Did you try with hypervoxel ?

I know it's slow but it should give you volume.

Hi adrian,
Get yourself a copy of Lightwave 6.5 Magic (have a look on ebay etc..) a good tut in that about rain and snow.
