Hi all,

I have an animated doll that turns and leaps to the side and turns back.
I need to animate the reverse - so that it leaps back to where it starts.

I'm sure there is a way to copy all the keys and then reverse them, like scaling them in the graph editor to -100or something. Or mirroring them.

So far I have copied all the keys to another part of the time line...

Any help on this will be much appreciated =]

Actualy that technique is not so good. I guess not evey thing can or needs to be reversed. it turns out strangely.
Hmm..

I See, I really only need to reverse the time, not the scale etc...
I have copied the keys so i dont want legs bending backwards etc...
But how...

Can you not just render backwards with your last frame as the start frame and frame 0 as the end frame with step -1?

OMG I got it to work. Silly though.

I used the dopesheet to select, right-clicked and selected 'edit with graph editor' and then inverted the keys from there. Why would it not work, going straight into the Graph Editor...
wierd...

and why would the Dope sheet let you slide to a negative in the numeric time scale value if it only works on positive values...

I would use the dopesheet to copy the key poses to the right positions and tweak so each part of the jump looks correct rather then simply trying to make it look like a film clip suddenly going into reverse.
