can anyone help? can't see what i entered!

Can anyone help me out here?
if there some kind of patch or something i can do to make both my light wave and Modeler when i enter in number i can see them instead of a white background which is the same as the font and the only way i can see what i entered is by highlighting them?
This happens to everywhere when i enter things into and I had tried to reinstall them over and over its still the same!
I am using WinXP , P4 2.4Ghz 512ram and an ATi 7500 graphic card!

This is a problem that should have been solved with the 7.5- upgrade (you should really get it , its free). The problem is caused by having support for foreign languages (fonts etc) installed in WinXP. There is a fix available at D- Storm too, afaik.

Thanks for your reply on my post but by any chance can you tell me where i can find patch at D- Storm? like a url for it?
I am taiwanese so i wouldn't know much about it!
