There are a couple items in the advanced procamp panel that affect horizontal locking. Look for AGC Gain Steady State Tracking and turn the value up.

Occasionally messing with the agc settings will help lock onto a vcr.

im using the 3890 Drivers/update
The octopus Cables with supplied BNC To S-Video adapter
JVC SR-S4800 SVHS VCR(New)
---------------

There are no number values in that setting Just slow/slowest-fast/fastest
i turn it on to fastest and it helps a little
im a newbie new to toaster are there any other settings that can make it steady like when i output to tv ?

would be nice

any help would be aprirecated thank you
