Kray demo-still available?

I was hoping to buy Kray next week for an animation job, I was going to download the demo yeasterday to try it out & familiarize myself with it but it's not on the Kray site any more :stumped: . I've contacted the developer but no response & I can't seem to access the kray forum so I thought that I'd ask here.

Is it still available, if not could someone please upload it or email it to me.

No old Kray beta is not available anymore because it did more harm than good being so old and outdated.

However there will be a new demo version after 1.7 is released.

ok, I think I know someone who downloaded it a few weeks ago so I'll try to get it off him.

It seems a bit screwy to me, removing a demo because it's old rather than just replacing it when the new one is ready. If I can't try it out this week I'll have to forget about buying it & use something that I know...FPrime, Messiah or Lightwave.

So, in this case it might have done more harm than good not having a demo available at all.

Kray 1.7 is an order of magnitude faster than 1.6, so people using 1.6 would just make them go "aww, Kray is slow." There is no demo of 1.7 because it's still in beta.
