statistics window question

I wanted to ask something about the statistics window ,
I have an object in modeler - one object all weld up . and it got no problem .
but than I look at the statistics window and I find that my obj is consist from
few parts and it's not one obj at all .
so my question is how come ? and why this happen ? and how I make my object
as one object ?.

If you imported an object from another format it sometimes takes the surfaces and turns them into parts. It has nothing to do with breaking up the model. You can take the parts, select them and assign a surface. There are also plugins that will turn the parts into surfaces.

But your model is one whole. That statistic window is not the "Object Statistics" it is the polygon statistics. You can just ignore that unless you want to convert those parts to surfaces.
