Yeah, I am sure these machines are gonna be fast as all hell!!
Let's hope there are ways to really upgrade your parts. The only problem I had with my Mac is the processors are a pain to upgrade. Not many people make them so they are very exspensive. Everything else was no problem.
DDR Ram is dirt cheap (512mb for 60~80 bucks) and fast as hell too.

I would suggest to NOT post images of the G5 on these boards. Do a google search for Apple G5 images.

All I really want is the option to buy a Quadro graphics card for my Quicksilver. I can't afford a new box, but I might be able to find $500 for a Quadro, if it's available. I'm sick of having to live with a video game card.
don't they have a 4xagp Quadro? Is the Ti so bad? (try living with a gf2 :) )

I'm amped on the AGP 8X Pro slots and DDR ram...
Oh and the clock speeds...
"IBM today posted details on its PowerPC Blade, which utilizes the new 64-bit PowerPC 970 processor running at speeds of up to 2.5 GHz"
drooling buckets now

Goodbye Motorolla!!! Oh man, that was stupid.. I was glad when Apple finally got Nvidia on the wagon, forced a nice competition between.
I don't use my Mac anymore, but I always want to get a new one... I'd just have FinalCut Pro and a few other video apps on it.
