Curve to poly and sasquatch

Up until now I've always used the Curve2poly plug-in to change my splines to hair guides for Sasquatch. But now in both 9 and 9.2, everytime I try to add the curve2poly plug-in, modeler crashes upon closing. I need to convert my guides, is there another working plug-in that will allow me to do this?

Sherpa lets you interactively make guides and Guide Tool offers a bunch of different options.
