No Create Tab?

So I've had the 30 day trial of LW 9 but I can't create anything! There's no create tab and when I go under the modeler tools and go Create -> Geometry -> Primitives. Nothing shows up! Can anyone help me? It's getting really frustrating and everyone I know doesn't know what to do :(

Go to EDIT>MENU CONFIGURATION

reload the menu preset

The Modeler tools in Layout aren't really the best place to create geometry right now. You'd be best to do your modeling in Modeler, and then import it into Layout.

cilayin - you have to have a Null selected in Layout to create a primitive. And modeler tools in layout are very much that right now - primitive. Beaker's right - use Modeler to create your geometry, and Layout to surface, animate, and render it.
