I have created a logo in Modeler and I am wanting to use it in a pre-built scene in Layout. But when I replace the "Your Logo Here" with the object, I can only see the first layer from Modeler. I tried to use the Save Layers as Object command in Modeler but keep getting an error. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or if this is possible?

Thanks,
Greg Kuhn

When you created the logo, did you do it in easy text? Do you have easy text set to single logo? A logo created in easy text will be created in a variety of ways depending on how the layer mode is set:

1- single logo makes the object all in one layer which is what you want most of the time unless you are planning to use the seperate lines or seperate letters scenes

2-seperate lines will make each line of text in it's own layer. These objects are to be used with the scenes in the seperate lines folder. If you try and use one of these objects in a scene that was set up for single logos. . . .only the first layer will be loaded

3- seperate letters makes a logo with each letter in it's own layer. These objects are made to work with the seperate letters scenes.

If you have created a logo in layers and then decide you want to use it in a single logo scene, you can just cut all the layers in modeler and paste them into one. Make sure you paste them into layer one.

Also
If you accidentally make the object in separate layers

Shift and click on all the layers to select them all
hit cut
click on the first layer and hit paste

resave and try to reload

that should do it.
