A big problem when simulating hair and cloth with Motion Designer ( MD )in LW is that we can't control forces in the area we want. If we have something like a weight map controlling MD simulation it would be fine.
A MD blender is really necessary too. Sometimes we want to create an artistic pose with hair and clothes and MD does not allow us to control the shape.
See the problem:
If I set different MD parameters to different surface areas, one part will be forced to appart from the other. I can't smoth or make a transition between 2 MD sets. I always have to aply the same MD set to the entire cloth and the result is unreal.
I see that a low poly cloth with a big subpatch rendering division can create smoth transition between 2 MD sets at the same cloth, but this is not suficient to create a complex cloth simulation.
How can I solve this?
Is there a way to create a plugin to use weights controling MD?
Please, show me a solution.
