I'm trying to make a thunder in a glass ball - I need to make it glow, however the Glow seems not to work neither does the Corona.
I set up corona fo luminance but it doesn't work if the surface is behind transparent object.
Anybody can help?

That would be right - Corona and Glow are post-processes that get applied to the rendered images 'pixels'
What happens is that your transparent object is rendered on top of the other items (as in 'painted' onto that rendered image at the same location as the other items), hence there's no way for the plugins to see the 'underlying' pixels (as they're all mixed in with the transparent item) to process them.
A couple of other approaches you could take:
Volumetrics - Try a volumetric light perhaps? Maybe even a Hypervoxel to add a glow?
Post-process - Render your thunder effect as an image seperate from your glass - Then composit them back together afterwards.
Good luck! :)

err. I'd try a sound program for thunder. :D
For lightning you could do the above, or maybe make some polygon streaks and animate their visibilty and glow.

maybe u put a bitmap seq of your thunder on a plane then put this plane inside the transparent sphere for the distortion glass effect
that is a case where you'd have to set the input channel to "color" since the "transparency" covers up the "luminance" information. However, anything else in the shot that's bright enough will get affected too. Compositing may be the best way
