Tricaster freezing up

Hello,
We have a Tricaster (Standard) at our school that is freezing up a lot. It can happen on original boot up. It's happened while switching cameras in a live production. And today it froze while working with overlays.
Can someone give us advice as to what we can do to rid ourselves of this "freezing up" problem.

This is not a common problem; so long has you have not installed any other software or changed the default configuration of the system. At this moment,there are a couple things that I can thing of:

1. Uninstalling any software that was added to the TriCaster by the school.
2. Disconnect any/all network drives.
3. Empty the clips, pictures and overlays from their respective areas. (I know this is not a workable solution but just trying to troubleshoot.)

If after following the steps above, the TC system can boot up and do a live production (at least for testing) then start to add things back into the playback lists for clips, pictures and overlays - one at a time. Other than a hardware failure, a problem like this can usually be traced back to a rogue item in one of these play list areas.
