transition between planes

Newbie modeler question here -

Is there an easy way to blend the transition between planes on an inside corner? Here's what I'm talking about:

i take it the spokes and rim are 2 seperate pieces it looks like to me....

You don't want to make 2 objects and try to join them; go to the best tutorial in the History of the World (http://www.lwg3d.org/forums/showthread.php?t=14554) and go to the section where he does rims.

While you're there, do the tutorial, but only if you want to become a PRO modeler in a few weeks.
