Nice design, nice render, but wouldn't this type of thing be faster/more easily created in a 2d vector prog?(ai 10 or fh 9) or is it for an animation?

re the render style...yeh i agree that it maybe faster to draw it in freehand, corel draw..but as i'm REALLY terrible at "drawing" by hand...lightwave comes to the rescue!
and note that lightwave can "do" illustration type renders really simply..plus i'm going to make this a rull proper render as well once i have textured it and lit it properly...
also not that if it were a simple drawing..i'd need to re draw it to see it from another angle...so if i need more than one drawing lightwave actually works out faster and more open to editing...plus you can animate as well if needs be.....!
i'll update the scene and post it here later.

Sure it´d be faster in Corel, but you can´t change the POV there :) , unless redoing the drawing from scratch. Then it would take longer.
Nice image BTW

yo, dudok rocks ..(dutch architect)
clean, and funky. A small detail just not crispy enough, espec. the window areas.
but great fun. :D

hi
well i didin't know it was "dudok"..i've searched on google for this house design but can't find it...
i got the graphic idea from a drawing in an art deco architecture book..there was no photograph of the building so i cannonly go off the drawing as yet...
if you could find a good dudok site with pictures please point me to it as i really like his style.
