That's what I want, in a perfect world. :D

How bout it, Newtek? The AmigaOne exists (albeit OS4.0 isn't out yet, but it's coming.) 800mhz and 1 gig of ram, with a 128mb ATI video card should be able to handle the VT, shouldn't it? The AmigaOne has PCI slots.. should be a matter of getting the software to talk to the hardware, right? The old Amiga software should provide a base for further development.

we all could dream but is still beleive the final verison of amiga one is nothing but vaporware. i would rather have newtek worry about making vt3 the best possible on windows instead of wasting time and money on porting it to other OS's. Bill gates is god Deal with it !!!!

Just wonderin but...

If Amiga 1 is based on the Original Amiga wouldn't the original Toaster board fit ??

Or are the PCI slots wired different..

Toaster paint, Deluxe Paint and Disney Animation Studio and the Toaster running at 800 MHz and all that ram..
aaaahhhhhhhhh
ram (as said in Homer Simpsons voice)

I'm droolin on the keyboard;)

The Amiga Toaster sat in the Amiga "Video Slot", a specialized and proprietary beast (definitely not PCI or AGP).

And I hate to say it but 800MHz just isn't fast anymore, at least not for the gymnastics VT performs. Of course the old Amiga OS was so freakin' efficient that it made a 16MHz 68K run smoother in '85 than any Windows until fairly recently.

An Amiga fan (really!), -MG
