OSX UB dongle question

a question for chilton (and sorry if this maybe has been asked already!):

will we have to change our USB dongles for running the upcoming UB version of LW on intel macs? i'm using a purple rainbow dongle and have heard that the developer will not write any 'eve' drivers for intel macs.
