If I purchase SpeedEdit, can I install it on my Tricaster without any problems? I am aware that adding additional software is not recommended, but I figured that since Newtek invented both the Tricaster and Speededit that maybe the two were compatible. Anybody out there tried it yet? Let me know, because I want to give my buddies at Video Hardware Systems a call and place an order.

I haven't tried it and I don't see why it wouldnt work if it didn't mess with any of the Tricaster system files. But don't you have a faster computer with more storage and memory that you can put it on? Our Tricaster is very lean and mean because when we take it out we want it to work and not have anything taking up space that we don't absolutely need. You could always call VHS and ask them... (They built us an Adobe system which will soon also be a Speededit system) Good luck!
