I believe this comment is ambiguous:
"Enjoy real-time, full resolution on-screen HD previews with FireWire output to camera or deck."
What if the reader makes the assumption that the firewire output would be limited to SD resolution? It is good but it is not quite right for the main page, IMHO.
I'm a fine one for not explaining things clearly first time around. But there needs to be a bit more gusto on the "HDV timeline preview" capability. Please do yourselves a big favor!
It ought to clearly state that you'll be able to use SE alongside your HDV equipment with all the factory/service-centre calibrated ITU709 functions of the firewire equipment to benefit from a true representation of your work.
simply put:
The only NLE that can preview your HDV output via firewire.
This is unique, afaik. Certainly a unique feature for a Windows based NLE fitted with just an inexpensive OHCI 1394 card, at least at the time of writing.
Get a steal on the competition. Colorists and cinematographers will flock to SE on this one feature.
