I was just wondering if the Sas Hair render in the Lightwave Camera would "match up" with the Fprime Render of the Character without the Sas hair. Please note that I don't have Fprime yet.

Yes.
Particularly seeing as how they are from the same developer, one wouldn't imagine he'd muff that kind of pipeline.

JasonWetmas, yes, that's possible. There are several ways, I guess, but I nice trick that I've used is bassically something like this:

1. Render your scene and your furry object (without fur) in FPrime
Consider if you are using the ShadowsofSAS shader, you can first bake this shader in textures.
2. Make your furry object transparent (100% with IOR = 1.0). Render with LW (only the SAS fur)
3. Compose as always
