I've been asked to produce some clothes for a poser character, but the client wants full control over the character in Poser once they're done. I'll be modelling and texturing in Lightwave and have no experience of rigging in Poser, or anything in Poser for that matter! Does anyone on here know how to produce a rigged poser character from a Lightwave mesh? Any potential takers?
Cheers, Dunk

Hi Arsad, thanks for that - someone on another post recommended them too - going to have a look at the demo of the software later :)

If you are completely new, you might want to try taking a look on the Renderosity Marketplace. (If you can wade through the 3rd rate home made porno stuff anyway).
Quite a few of the sellers there produce what they call 'merchant resources' or 'kits', many of which serve as starter kits to build stuff you can then sell yourself. This is all typically very cheap ($10-$25 ish). They may well help you get a flying start.

Hmm - now that was a scary place to look through!
I'm beginning to get the feeling that I might be best passing the client on to a poser user who makes clothes for that package. Reading through the Green Briar stuff I'd have to hope that the clothes I make will conform to the original meshes deformation. If it starts to need tweaking then I'm looking at learning Poser, which I'm not likely to use ever again :/

Yes, but I can but dirt cheap unique stuff there you won't have seen before, (if you wade through the rubbish!)
