I have now had the Tricaster lock up in three separate live productions.

Twice, it has locked on to the iVGA input. Most often I just use the number keys to cut from source to source; that didn't work, nor did double clicking or picking a 'next' source and hitting spacebar, or clicking the take button. It was quite locked.

This was only on the VGA output. On the preview screen, it was working. In fact, I didn't notice until one of my cameramen pointed it out to me -- had my head buried in the previews. We finally cleared it by turning off and then back on the VGA output, I believe.

The third time was a total system lockup. No response to mouse clicks or anything. We don't have any plugins or anything, the system is about as virgin as could be.

Is there something that I should be aware of that would cause the first problem? And has anyone experienced the second?

I had a problem with our Tricaster locking up everytime I hit the TAKE button on the switcher. NewTek was happy to fix that for us. Turned out to be a bad switcher.

does it only happen on the Ivga input....I've had similar problems in live events but it was always the media player control that controls the VCR, I got some beta patch from NewTek that fixed it for me.
