how do these spec sound im looking for a wokrstation to get.so far ive got this one but if i get it i want to upgrade it...

2.53GHz Intel® P4 CPU
40GB IDE ATA100 system drive
512MB DDR memory
64MB GeForce4 MX440SE AGP video card
Windows XP Home OS

any suggestions on whut i could get to upgrade this ..right now im focusing on the processor but undecided..also maybe the video card

Sounds like a pretty decent system to me. Do you know what the front side bus speed is? It will be either 400mhz or 533mhz. if it is 533mhz, sure, pop in a new processor. If it's 400mhz, doubt your motherboard will support 533mhz, which means you can't really upgrade the chip. Your best bet is probably to add memory and get a better video card. From what I've read though, that video card does about as well on LW as most others.
