2500 meter Carrier I am working on.. and that is mainly so i can design the hangar to park my 60-meter shuttle.. I wanted to get a feel for its surroundings so i can do the landing gear.

Needless to say a few details for this ship. It's a 2500-meter Carrier with a central engine ring located horizontally around the equator. As can be seen by the name of the ship, its partly a tribute to the sci fi series that gave me years of excitement.

The upper hangars are for 100 meter ships, while the lower hangars are for 60-meter shuttles.. Down out of sight, the same types of hangars go around below the ships hull as well.

One question I have is what is good type of light to use in a hangar that is about 100 meters high, 200 meters long and 100 meters wide.. spotlights/area lights? I've tried some basic light setups but have trouble getting a nice even spread of light to illuminate a large room..

Thanks for any critiques..

I can sort of remember a show that featured balls, and mars, and eating sand, some one called zelda or something. Is that the one?

Beats me.. the marbles are just scale models of the ships that park in the hangars.. when i get the 60 meter ship done, it will be added, and then the 100 meter ships..

The show you are thinking of is Gerry Anderson's 'Terrahawks' with Zelda the martian witch, and the round robots were the zeroids.
