Mach 5

Here's a mock-up of my design for an updated Mach 5.

I tried to incorporate as many of the 'details' of the original, but made a rear-engine design with a severe cab-forward feature =]

I hear a Speed Racer movie is possibly in the works too :)

I'm going to take the time to model the interior and then reskin the vehicle with the lessons learned from this early concept.

The rims are from an older car model I made and I'll design something more appropriate later.

Comments, cirtiques, and advice are definately welcome as always.

very cool. is the final going to be more towards photorealistic or cartoon/anime?

Definately going for photorealistic :D . Going to concentrate on the interior and placement of the other seams before creating the new skin.

Yeah looks cool although I'd hate to get hit by that car - those prongs look sharp to me! :)
