Exporting into shockwave 3d

Hey there.
Well i have a 3d object in lightwave 8.5 on a mac.
When do i go to export it into a shockwave 3d file??
I tried export but all it has is "save 5.6 scene", which dont do anything.
On lightwave 9 at my friends computer it has this option.
Is this just a bug for 8.5??

Any help would be appreciated :D

In Lightwave- file>export>shockwave. If you aint seeing it then you need to scan your plugins. This should do the trick.

oh, and to scan look under your utilities tab > plugins
