Hello
Does anyone of you had a setup of AMLETO
to render the same frame with two procs (dual)
i have the two nodes recognised choose the scene
and then the two nodes render a black frame...ok
i checked the manual and verified that the content was ok
what do i have to choose ? network transfer ? or shared drive ?
and how to share the unique drive with the unique drive ?
please, helps would be fantastic :)

you have to tell amleto-server, that the maximum number of nodes rendering one frame is greater than 1
setting is called "nodes", i think
so if you're rendering one single frame with i.e. 4 nodes, this setting has to be at least 4

Hi Oculus
thanks for responding
i don't see the setting you are talking about
but what access type do i have to use for the node to get the files necessary to render ?
network transfer ? or shared drive ? and how to configure them ?
so much questions.......:)
if you could help me
Hi there,
You are lucky I get this message :-) (I'm one of the Amleto programmer) You guys should try to contact us directly for fast answers :-)))
Beside that:
Black rendering is normaly due when you choose the wrong content directory (even if you said that you double checked it). Download the latest published release:
http://www.rayserver.com/download.php
Which will enable you to check LWSN messages (on the client window).
The content dir must be wisly selected as this directory must contain all files needed in your scene (can be in sub directories of this content dir).
Once you get some normal rendering working with amleto (say you got some images back), you may try to render using all your nodes, to do so with a single frame, simply put a larger number on the segment field (by default 1 put as much nodes you have).
