How are you animating the robot?

iam animating the robot using inverse kinematics. i can bring the foot pretty close to the ground, but still some of the foot is sinking in to the ground plane. is there a easy way to do it.

Somethings to check:
Make sure your IK is setup properly including match goal.
Sometimes setting limits on knee joints can cause feet to push into the ground.
Check and make sure that youve adjusted the tension on your IK Goal as Rich suggested when the feet are in contact with the ground or make the keys linear there.
