Great modeling as always. Just keep your model away from my model in the WIP forum, eh?

What?
Started on mapping and texturing. Just the colour on the fuse so far. Tons left to do.
How about a low fly over?8/

Texturing is well underway now. Most of the textures are done. Just the engines and landing gear left to do.

Nice stuff - the panel lines on the tail fin look a bit soft to my eye - are they meant to look like that?

Thanks, and yes. I wanted to get in a little dirty look around where the panels meet. The seams on real airliners are so small and smooth I wanted to try to get something in there to show that there actually is a seam. I am suprised nobody noticed the Lightwave logo in front of the Boeing script on the engine.:hey:

*Laughs hard*

Got it, Shockwave. The whole model rocks, as does the texture - but I see it, now I look for it :D

Good on ya!

Modelling is wrapped for the plane and since I am in the mood I might as well make a home for it.

From the squeaky-clean cleanliness of it, I assume it's for a promo or something for United?

Its a little dirty near the seams but you need to be real close to see it. Most dirt gets built up on the wings and flaps and most of the bigger airlines dont let them get that dirty. I had to fight the urge to grime it up and had to remember it's a 737 not a Lancaster.:D This colour sceme was used until 93.

Went ahead and finished up the hangar so that just about wraps it up. The offices even have interiors but no furiture just pics on the walls. I may add an overhead crane just like they had in one of the fabricating shops I used to work in. The hangar I did for the fun of it.

I wanted to do some light test renders with a smaller object to save time so I used the Make Nissan 300Z plugin to sub for the plane temporairly.
