Greetings!
Ah yes... finally! New workable forums! :)
Props to NewTek!
To help celebrate, visit this link ftp://ftp.djlithium.com and download some of my sets if you need tunes to Lightwave by.
Speaking of which... got some modeling to do. (reaching for the headphones).
Cheers!
Oh yeah. I have included a little something for everyone to try out. Read the instructions. It's rather handy if you want to stream your renders or demo reels.

Well, I am usually down for a Jerry Goldsmith score myself but to me trance is the modern continuation of classical themes.
I have alse been known to open up a set with some John Williams from time to time (on record no less) so don't be suprised if the imperial march greets you some day on my main station. :)
Cheers and enjoy the tunes.

Well, I'm musically inept. My cousin, on the other hand, is not. Give their tracks a listen when you have some time:

The good/bad news is they're cd quality, so 3-4mb a pop.
Enjoy
PS - I'm guilty of the John Williams while working, too. The old Dracula soundtrack is pretty good for setting a dark mood.
Rainy days, however, are best for Vangelis Bladerunner soundtrack...
"I want to see a negative before I provide you with a positive."
"What's that going to prove?"
"Indulge me."
"On you?"
"Try her."
Props to DJ fella over there!!!
Hey Lithium nice to know there's another DJ on here! I spin every now and again, started off with trance but moved to funky house, now more broken up stuff like breaks, beats and occasional hiphop classic! Have been known to attempt some scratching when I'm flowing too!!!
I found this really old flyer, guess what that was rendered in! :)
Time now 9pm GMT . . .
In about 1hr (to be safe) check this link (http://www.creactive-design.co.uk/breaks_beats_classics_mix.mp3) for a funky "Beats, Breaks and Classic Hip Hop" (with a bit of House towards the end!) mix I did after I came back from a club drunk one night!
I was in the mood to mix but decided to record it too, normally I would be a lot tighter on the mix but I was in a state! Was really doing it to put together a CD of tracks I really like as I'd listened to all the others to death!!!
Enjoy!
:D
Okay it's there, go get it!!! :)
Make sure you break out your old Addidas trainers, ghetto blaster and lino for a spot of breakin'!!!

hey, djlithium
I have to admit I listened some more to your tracks and yes, they are very good. What you said about continuation etc... yeah, you're right
It's a shame nobody has revamped the Williams/Goldschmith/Arnold style into trance or dance tracks yet.

Thanks guys...
Give me John Williams or Jerry Goldsmith for a week and I will give you anthems for the modern age :)
Actually I am working on some tracks now which will probably be free downloads at somepoint. Just wish I could cut the records at home. here is a product newtek should market in the US under a different name http://www.vinylium.ch
Nice, only 5K US! (thats actually a really really good deal).
Later!
