creating shiny steel balls

sorry to bother you but i have been trying to make really realistic shiny metal balls that are to be atttached to a newtons cradle frame - i have used many things but cannot get the balls reflecting off each other - can anyone suggest how best to make a simple steel shiny ball? as simple as possible please!

There are some nice chrome material presets that ship with the software- make sure you have ray trace reflections turned on when you render. Also create an environment around your models so the the balls reflect that as well as each other.

thank you so much - I am hoping to have a tv on a table in the background with animated noise which will then reflect off the steel balls - its for a college project - i really do make things hard for myself!!!!!
