How can i rid of my divx upgrade?

Hi, everyone

I know it is only Lightwave forums but i'm lightwave user. I'm new to PC cos I was mac user. I was annoyed about the divx pro upgrade now came on my screen everytime when i open the movies.

I want to rid of the divx pro upgrade file. I tried to find the divx pro file but i can't find it. I know little about PC.

Do you know where's the divx pro uprade file which i want them to bin.

Hi thekho,

I think you're saying you want to uninstall DivxPro. Correct?
Since your new to Windows go to the
Start button
Control Panel
Click on Add or remove programs
Select DixvPro in the list
Then choose remove

No, I mean the divx pro upgrade not divx player which i want keep to it.

I don't know explain to you cos i'm not english but i show you my pic which i want rid of it.

If u want to disable DivX Player from cheking for updates.
then do the following:
Open DivX Player, Right-Click on the screen
and select Options... , on the General tab unselect the Check for new application versions at startup box.

Opps never mine I just saw that DivX Player was NOT your problem.

Um, just uninstall the current Divx player and download and install the one you want.

Better, better still- just install the codec (for Windows Media Player) and junk the adware player altogether...

not only its free but has all codecs i know of and all you might need...
it fixed alot of problems for me i had with all those c*** single codecs out there...

First uninstall the annoying divx codec..

or buy the divx pro edition... ;)

U are right. Went uninstall Divx player and download other new divx player. The divx pro ungrade didn't come anymore.
