Please help with a flag

I am trying to make a banner fluttering in the wind, and I am using this tutorial.

the problem is that the cloth of the flag moves away fom the flag pole.

my question is, how do I make it stick to the pole?

or perhaps someone could suggest a different turorial/way of making this.

You need to have the points on the end with a fixed surface and set that in ClothFX. Oh, have the flag parented to the pole. Add gravity (-9.8) to have it relax downwards.
