I own a VT4 system and I have now gotten around to start to use the 3D Arsenal products. I go through the process of creating the ToasterDudes directory, replacing the 7.5 configs and then installing the content onto the computer. I hit "O" and direct the path to the scene directories and then when I try to open up one of the scenes, it says that is cannot find the objects. An example, I tried the flagwave1 under Arsenal Flags. A dialog box appears and says, can't find "Objects/flags/flag.lwo".

What am I doing wrong?

Found the problem. I had to delete the fourth file in the config location and then going through the steps with scanning plugins and then closing and reopening LW 7.5, it worked.

Also when setting the content directory do not navigate to the scene directory but just to the root of the 3D Arsenal master content folder.

I'm using lightwave 9 and I have similar problem. What file do you delete?

If you are not worried about your LW 9 config, what I mean is you have not custmized it, just delete these 4 LW 9 config files
LW9
LWM9
LWEXT9
LWHUB9

then copy the new 9 configs in and you should be good to go

By putting the Arsenal config files in there, do I lose any LW9 functionality? I can do everything in LW9 PLUS Arsenal? Just noticing the Arsenal tab at the top of the screen.

Yes, the LW9 configs are designed not to remove anything, just add the 3D Arsenal Tab.

The only issue is if you have modified your config.
But you can always save your config and reload.

Also in lw9 we can just add the tab to any current config but I need to document that process.
