Help with Layout Calculations

I'm having problems with Lightwave 9 hanging and locking up when I go to calculate my collision dynamics. Here are my system specs.

AMD Athlon 64 3800+
3 gigs of ram
Western Digitla serial ata HDD
ATI Radeon 800

If anyone has any ideas, please help. Thanks.

Its probably nothing to do with your system and more to do with what type of dynamics you are calculating, I would guess at clothFX.

Start calculations from the FXbrowser panel, not the calculate button above the dynamics tab and avoid having intersections between the cloth object and any collision objects at the beginning of the calculation, to check this disable the collision objects to see if you can get a few frames calculated then switch them on one at a time to see where the problem is

Thanks, I'll give that a try. It's actually inside scatter collision but cloth is a ***** too. I do love my upgrade :)
