Remember when the deal was to upgrade to VT4 and they'd give you 5, SpeedEdit, and a bunch other stuff like some DVE's or something???
Well...I did it...and just called to mention it to my vendor...and he's on the phone like I'm making it up.
Anyone know where I can get ahold of some solid evidence to show them?
They say if I can show them something, then they'll get with Newtek...
I'm thinking it wouldn't hurt for them to just call now eh?
Anyone?

It was a "limited time offer", and so I don't quote things incorrectly...the info can be found on this forum by doing a search "SpeedEdit".

If someone buys VT4 now, they do still get the free upgrade to VT5 correct?
Just not the extra seat of Speed Edit and the content packs?
I wouldn't think they would make an immediate VT4 sale customer pay for VT5 in a couple months. Otherwise current sales of VT4 would come to a complete hault while everyone waited for VT5 to appear.
No sales = no $$.
So sorry, no answer.. just more questions.

I believe the term Jim was looking for is "Osborning."

Can't find the posts, the info anywhere in the news posts, nada...
And I bought the upgrade due to a presentation in Santa Clara by Newtek, I believe it was Ablan who gave the presentation...
VT5, SpeedEdit, and some content packs were in the deal...now, nothing. I was kind of hoping to get my hands on the content packs at least.
Also picked up Dan's 3d Arsenal, which is a huge timesaver I must say.
Newtek...Phillip...Dan...somebody throw me a bone here. My vendor requires proof now that this was the deal, which also strikes me as strange since they hosted the presentation. Nice huh?
Not ranting, yet. LOL.

Thanks Gary,
after my last phonecall with the local vendor,
I will be calling you.
They've just lost my business.
Not going into it online...but not going back either.
