After getting alot of requests, Ive created a couple of scenes for you to dissect!
Just load these in and hit MD Start!
MD Scene Files (http://www.3DInk.com/MDRandD.zip)

http://www.3dink.com/waterMD.gif
http://www.3dink.com/taffyMD.gif

They are both good starting points for you to tweak and understand what MD does and why....not that I could tell you what I did to get to this point! :)
There is no exact science to MD, every tweak will act differently depending on another...so change one setting and re-calculate...and keep repeating, and saving every cool iteration!

Perhaps with enough testers, we will all come to understand this strange force known as MD2000!
...well at least we will have alot of cool presets! so test and share!

Very nice :)

I have to say MD is a bit slow, but still is very useful for all sorts of situations.

What kind of a computer do you have?
Its not that slow with something above a Ghz these days...I mean yeah it does take a few minutes to calculate, but then you can save out the .mdd file and its realtime and doesnt affect render time!
heh! Try a PFX scene with 100000 particles! THATS slow!

Thanks for the scenes,

Never really used motion designer that much but I know will come in handy at some point ,

Cheers

Very cool Howard.

I tried out the water scene and it was surprising how fast it calculated. Looks good too. Add some good gradiants on the floor surface and add some particles for splashes and you could have something really nice.

Well, cool cool for the scenes.... but the taffy scene does not work.... dunno... the floor freaks out as soon as I start MD ..... any idea... ?

the water scene is really cool, calculates in no time (actually almost in real time for me here on a dual amd°)...

Thanks Howard
