OpenGL display option missing?

ok don't think i have seen this one before but if you go to your display option in layout and click on the OpenGL tab you should be able to 'show text editor layer' but that option isnt in the window. is it an omission from the mac version that will be in the UB or is there something missing from my lightwave install like a plugin that has not scanned correctly.
any ideas? Chilton?

That option was deleted in LW 9 IIRC

hmmm, odd that it is still in the manual, at least its in the PDF one.
