Can someone tell me why I CAN run out of memory when rendering say a displacement map? What I don't understand is why Virtual memory isn't used and preventing a system lockup, crash or warning from LW?
I know it would be very slow, but at least it should work.
Also, it seems like an enormous amount of memory is needed per Polygon.
