ok, I need to do a forest. My map is about 50 km * 50 km SCALED. Which means that the trees must have about 20 m high = a LOT of trees.

I've tryed to use HD_instance, but the picture looks like a bunch of pixel (trees). If I try to increase the size, it does the same thing.

Is their a way to make a realistic forest using a picture or something like that?

Im looking at new ways to do it. I know youll say to me to use hd_instance, but it didnt worked.. maybe you can help me on that.

thanks

I've used sprite Hypervoxels with a picture map of a tree applied, seemed to work well. For a big forest you will need a LOT of trees, and lots of different types of trees too.

Did you try Vue? If you bought LW recently, you'll have that already. Very easy to produce pretty good looking forests...
