Ok, I'm a newbie so be gentle. I'm trying to capture SDI from Digibeta with timecode. Er, I can't seem to set up capture with in & out points in VT2. Is that not there? I can in Speed Razor but then the timecode info does not seem to be retained in the RTV file. When I read it back in to Razor or VT the source timecode starts at 00:00:00:00. Please tell me that I'm not doing something right and that I don't have to wait for VT3 to do this simple task. Many thanks in advance.

For batch capture through Video Toaster software you have to wait til T3, sorry... :(

You can use Speed Razor, and then Edit Properties pannel, you can check "Use Clip Timecode", this is suppose to work, but it never did for me.

You can always join Beta Force.... :)

Jesus, you're telling me that everyone out there is editing without source timecodes? Isn't that a bit of a problem? It is for me. I'm building many effects shots and need to retain the source TC. Man this wasn't a problem with Flint. This is my first job with VT and I'm getting bummed before I get started.

When i try to PRINT TO TAPE ALL with SR4.8SE... the program "said" Your current video player does not support print to tape at this time.

BUT... i can use BATCH CAPTURE using VT2 without any problem!!

Any help is welcome!
