I have successfully burnt several DVD's using TMPGEnc and the DVD Workshop. My question is what is the maximum length video you can do and still get a quality product. The longest I've done so far is 1 hr 40 min. But I am getting ready to do a project that is 2 hr 24 min.

I really dread having to break it into two parts...thus increasing my time and the money necessary to make a DVD. But I also don't want to produce a DVD nobody wants to pay for.

Any advice...previous experience is appreciated.

I would also split it into two DVDs. Quality goes down very fast once you go over two hours, I can't recommend one DVD for that long of a time of program.

I haven't used the dual-sided DVDs, but I use separate ones, and there are many types of cases specifically designed for two discs.
