I love it. The clasps at his wrists could stand a few more polygons for smoothing - but it's not that noticable.
Nice job.

Thats very good - a lot of the small details are surprisingly realistic for such a stylised figure!
The only bit I am not altogether sure about is the helmet glass - it looks like it does not quite fit the main helmet properly. The texture is a bit off too - have you considered something with a mirror finish, maybe with a gradient to make reflection stronger at shallow angles?

ill post some more soon

It looks a little crumpled polygon wise, at the lowest part of the arm sleeve, before the red cuff. Maybe a little relentlessly beige?
I still love the look overall though!

Excellent! What are you going to do with them when they are finished?
(And did you know that the russian cosmonaut dog's name 'Laika' is a diminutive feminine for mof the verb 'to bark'. In other words, her name was"woofer!")

As long as you pose it so that one can't see through the arm at the red clasp, this is very cute piece.
Balance-wise, were I the woofer in that pic, I think the tank would be better straddled across the back or at the scruff of the neck. On the moon, or in a zero-g environment, I imagine that the nose piece would get quite a workout scraping the ground. ;)

The dog suit looks great, will the visors be transparent at all? One suggestion, the visors could look pretty cool with the BRDF shader applied.

The one we're looking at on this thread IS WAY more cute! The one you're showing is boarderline cool IMHO. This is kind of orgional...that one looks kind of like a tooned out NASA suite.
I really like these...but use a different reflection map! Maybe of a martian surface or something...because that city center scene is the only thing distracting me! You can use just a gradient, view of mars from a rover image, or get tricky with texture world, gradients, and procedurals...

These are great. Would make fantastic toys or TV series...or both.
Someone mentioned if the visors would be slightly transparent, what ever you do don't do that leave them solid. Agree about the reflection needing to be better, it's too low and dirty, needs to be really bright and contrasty with an obviouls reflection of space and maybe a planet.
Great work want to see more.

Great!
Incidentally the first russian dog in space was Laika, a feminine diminutive form of the verb 'to bark'. In other words, her name was 'woofer'.
The Americans called her Muttnik...
Later came two Belka And Strelka (Squirrel and Little Arrow).
