version of 3890 to get?

I'm ordering the lightwave 7.5 + dfx bundle upgrade with dongle and I was wondering what was the right version to download. I was hoping the XP version on CD would have a choice to select which install to use. Also I was wondering what type of interaction between the two products can I expect?

The XP CD would have 3890. LightWave can read RTV's and so can DFX. They both can use VT, as a framebuffer, so you can view your output on a NTSC or PAL monitor.

The ability to read rtv's does not seem like alot of integration.
I was hoping the ddr's would play a part in the different layers.
also the left and right view could be replaced with toastervision.
perhaps someone on the forum can give us some of their toaster/dfx experence. It is a package bundle Newtek has been selling for a while. Anyone here have the combo?
