Making an audio recording stereo

I know when using Kool Edit and other audio editing programs, if something is recorded in just one channel, you can copy and paste that channel into the other to give it a stereo sound. We use a camera with an external mic and the external mic only records in the left channel thus sound only comes out of the left channel during playback. Is this possible with the TriCaster convert a mon signal to stereo? If so, how is it done?

If you are just getting audio on the left, that actually means that you have a stereo audio track but that it is just on the left channel. SO, either make the track mono, or pan to center and you will be good! This is in general--I am very new to the Tricaster, so to do this on the TC may be different...
